Kickapoo River at Readstown affecting Vernon County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Kickapoo River at Gays Mills. * WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water begins to cover roads near the river, including Sand Hill Road near Bell Center. Minor flooding occurs in areas adjacent to the river, including Robb Park in Gays Mills. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning and continue falling to 7.4 feet Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.4 feet on 03/08/2004. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Information: Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
